When We’re in the Presence of the Holy Spirit
- HE CONVICTS US OF OUR SIN
“When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.” John 16:8
“The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla[a]greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.20 All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.” 1 Corinthians 16:19-20
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30
- HE CONFIRMS OUR SALVATION
“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Romans 8:16
“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.”

- HE COMFORTS US IN OUR TROUBLES
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.” John 14:16
“Do not quench the Spirit.”
“Do not extinguish the Spirit.”
“Do not put out the Spirit’s fire.”

THIS WEEKS FAITH CHALLENGE
- I will commit today to stop ignoring the voice of the Holy Spirit and begin praying, “Holy Spirit You are welcome in my life.”
